20/21 School Year- Week 9

Image
A week when a long time prayer was answered! School was really busy this week.  While we were home we worked very hard to get all our subjects done and learned.  I did not take great notes because we were very rushed again this week.  I hope this does not become a pattern again this year! We have been praying for horses for many years now.  We have bought several that did not work out.  They were sold to us as great children's horses, but were absolutely not.  I had all but given up on getting any, I had even sold a lot of my saddles and tack. Then the Lord sent us on a volunteer project out at the Runnin WJ Ranch.  We really just had a great time and decided to volunteer on a semi permanent basis. Well, it turns out they had a couple of horses that needed a new home.   So a lot of this week was spent meeting with the equine manager there, filling out paperwork, proving we had a place for them, going back and picking them up.  Once...

This was the week of terrible note taking on my part! Sunday we were still at the lake enjoying time together. Monday we packed up and came home.  That is a chore!  Then Dad, Logan, and Savannah had doctor appointments. Tuesday, Savannah worked mostly on her end of unit ASL study guide.  She also had class.  Logan and Lillian worked on their individual studies.  We then went to the Texarkana Library and ran a few errands. Wednesday I had to go get my flu shot.  The kids all worked on their individual PACE packs.  Then Logan and Savannah had collide church that evening. Thursday Savannah and Logan worked on their PACE packs.  Lillian had a Wild and Free Group Playdate.  We went to a new to us park, she had a fabulous time.  Logan had a Teen Leader Council Meeting.   Friday morning Logan and Lillian had dental appointments.  Savannah finished her ASL test.  We have not gotten her official grade yet, but I'm sure s...

Savannah worked on catching up in her sign language class. Lillian helped me get ready to go camping. Thursday, Savannah had her sign language class. Then the kids and I loaded up and headed out to go camping.   We stayed at the campground until today, which is Monday.  We had a great time.  Meme and Papa camped with us. It was our first camping trip in a long time and we really enjoyed it. Even though it was Sabbath Week, we still learned a lot.  We learned about alligators, water fowl, mayflies, and Lillian interviewed a State Trooper until ...
