This has been another great week of learning life skills.  We also got quite a bit of book work in this week. Dad is home working virtually again. Logan killed a deer, so we spent some time processing it. We did horseback riding lessons. I had a board meeting that lasted all day. Logan passed his driver's test!  We also did our volunteer work at the Running WJ Ranch.  Everyone did two lessons in each of their PACE booklets and did some free choice reading. We are now on Thanksgiving break.

This week we had a million things to do it seemed like.  I did not take any pictures. But we had some family pictures taken. We had a lot of health and home economics lessons. Logan had three medical appointments this week.  Dad had one. Savannah continues in her ASL classes. Everyone is continuing in their PACE packs.  I can't believe we are almost into December of this school year already. We did several hours of volunteer work at the Runnin' WJ Ranch. We gave some horseback riding lessons to a friend. The kids all participated in our Church's Youth Game Day. We all participated in a texting movie night with our homeschool friends. It was really a good week.  It was a fast paced week.  We are still trying very hard to get in some exercise every day.   We have one more week of school before Thanksgiving Break.

We started the week on Sunday still at the lake.  We had a very enjoyable trip and had lots of fun. Monday we started back to school after a much needed break feeling refreshed.  The kids worked on their PACE booklets and their book reports. We also started our USA Geography.  We are using a monthly subscription box from highlights along with a large cloth color in map.  We began with Georgia. Tuesday and Wednesday morning I had in-service learning about a new fishing curriculum offered through AGFC.  The kids worked on the PACE booklets and book reports again.  Wednesday evening Logan had Trap practice. Thursday was just another normal school day, Lillian finished up her book reports.  Logan and Savannah finished up on a couple of PACE booklets.  Thursday evening we went and had our pictures taken.  This was the first time we have had a family portrait taken in several years. Here are some snap shots that Shane and I took.  Sabbath Week We had a very relaxed Sabbath Week.  We really needed this break.  We started the week with  horseback riding! We did some volunteer work.  The girls and I helped our local WMA collect wildflower seeds. We had a lot of fun, learned a lot, and collected seeds for us to make our own wildflower plot.  We zoomed with friends. Savannah had an ASL test  Logan and I took an afternoon and went shopping. I enjoyed getting to spend the evening with just him and catch up.  We then went camping.  We really enjoyed ourselves. Meme and Papa were there with us one day. We fished, played in the water, explored around the new to us lake, and had a great time.  Tomorrow starts a new week in school for us.  We are refreshed and ready!
