Be Still, Have Faith, & Teach On!

We had a great week.  Our summer has been going so well. Here are the highlights from the week. Sunday after church we helped Meme and Papa snap beans. The rest of the day was just rest and church. Monday, Dad had a job interview and ran some errands in town.  The kids and I tried to get caught up on housework. Tuesday, Dad and Savannah went to the eye doctor.  Then they went to Texarkana and bought us a new to us vehicle! We are loving it! Wednesday was Savannah's birthday trip.  We went to Shreveport Louisiana and went to the aquarium and Sci-port museum. We had such a wonderful trip! There was an outside part with native aquatic plants and animals. This aquarium had so many hands on exhibits!  We got to touch and learn about animals that live in tide pools We got to pet and feed the variety of rays. This was a favorite! Sunday was Father's Day.  I found a neat idea on Pinterest for a candy card.  The kids had a great time making the card. We are so thankful for Dad, he works so hard for his family! Sunday was also our 14th Wedding Anniversary. I really can't believe how fast the time goes.  I am very lucky to have Shane as my husband, it has been a good 14 years. We decided to work on the house this week and go on a camping trip later in the summer. Monday was the last night of the Shadow Empire Bible class Dad and the older kids have been going to. They all agreed that it was the best one.  They are asking to go to the next Bible course.  They all really enjoyed the experience. Tuesday Logan competed at 4H District O'Rama in BB guns and gun safety.  He placed 3rd!  I'm so proud of him.
