20/21 School Year - Week 15
We started the week on Sunday still at the lake. We had a very enjoyable trip and had lots of fun.
Monday we started back to school after a much needed break feeling refreshed. The kids worked on their PACE booklets and their book reports. We also started our USA Geography. We are using a monthly subscription box from highlights along with a large cloth color in map. We began with Georgia.
Tuesday and Wednesday morning I had in-service learning about a new fishing curriculum offered through AGFC. The kids worked on the PACE booklets and book reports again. Wednesday evening Logan had Trap practice.
Thursday was just another normal school day, Lillian finished up her book reports. Logan and Savannah finished up on a couple of PACE booklets. Thursday evening we went and had our pictures taken. This was the first time we have had a family portrait taken in several years. Here are some snap shots that Shane and I took. The real pictures have not came in yet. After we finished getting our pictures taken, we went to an outdoor movie with our homeschool friends.
Friday morning the kids and I headed back to Texarkana to do some volunteer work with the Runnin' WJ Ranch. We all had a good time and enjoyed getting to help with this amazing company.
Saturday was just a typical day. Everyone rested, played some video games, and did a few chores. Savannah planned our family fall fest this year. She did an amazing job and we had a great time Saturday evening dressing up, eating a delicious meal, having some wonderful snacks, and watching Scooby Doo outside around the fire pit.
This week I was also able to finally find a little box turtle for Lillian to observe for a few days!
