Week 11
We are so loving the fall temperatures. Some days still get a bit warm, but we are able to enjoy being outside!
This week in school:
History: We studied about the Shang Dynasty and the beginning of Chinese culture. We also talked about how they have remained such a strong culture without many changes for so long.
Science: We studied about fossils. Logan completed section 3 in his Biology 101.
Math: Everyone continued on in their lessons.
Language Arts: Everyone continued on in their lessons here as well.
Music: No music this week.
Art: Lillian is still doing all kinds of art projects in her co-op classes. No art for the rest of us this week.
Read Aloud: We finished "The Traveler's Gift" by Andy Andrews. We really enjoyed this book. I have not decided what to read next.
Poetry: We had our first poetry tea time this week. Savannah and Lillian both memorized poems to share. Logan read us a few from a poetry book.
Co-op Classes: Everyone is still enjoying their classes. They are not ready for them to end. Next Friday will be the last fall co-op.
In other happenings:
Tuesday afternoon we had a meeting with Logan's case worker.
Wednesday and Thursday evenings were spent processing deer meat.
Friday we went to the park after co-op classes.
Saturday Logan and Dad went to church game day.
Hope you have a blessed weekend.
