Week 40
Well that's it folks! School is officially over in the Wilson Homeschool World for awhile. We really tried to have school this week, but we just couldn't. We mostly did two lessons in math and two lessons in language arts and called it for the year.
Logan is still working towards earning his last few hours in his woodworking class, and he will also do a few more hours in his metal working class in the future.
We are taking the next few weeks off from any formal learning. I am going to be researching drying herbs and working in the garden. I was able to get our first sprigs of lavender this week.
In other news:
The kids spent the night with their grandparents one night. They had a great time.
Lillian finished her pig painting.
A storm blew off some nearly ripe mulberries, so we picked them up and ate them. They we so good even though they were not completely ready, I sure hope we will be able to get some ripe ones before the birds eat them all!
I made some strawberry jam and infused water.
Mother's Day was this weekend, I have the three best kids in the world to be a mom too. I love them each so very much and I'm so proud of them!
So now it's off to summer plans!
