Week 4-Getting Ready for Fair

Our week started with the kids doing a small skit at church. They were very nervous, but they did a great job.

Then Dad helped the kids grow magic rocks.

This week in Bible study we "walked with the professor." We are still liking this Bible study.

In science we ivestigated the inventions of Braille, blenders, and bubble gum.  We also worked in our lapbook and learned about Virginia Apgar.

Math this week was all Saxon math, everyone just continued their lessons.

We continued our read aloud with Nathaniel Bowditch. We are learning a lot about navigation!

We only did one lesson in History this week.

Language Arts, everyone continued in their individual lessons.  We only got two lessons each done.

We had a homeschool co-op class this week.  It was Geography Through Art.  The kids had a good time.

Other things that happened this week...

We worked a lot on items for the fair.  We did several sewing projects and worked on pieces for two different 4H booths.

We had music night at the farm and Lillian had Taekwondo.

Lillian stayed the night with Meme and Papa so she could go fishing with them.

Logan and Savannah went to a 4H cooking workshop.

We worked in the hay field a little bit.

We had a 4H meeting.  They made really neat candles! I can see us doing this again for gifts. They also worked on fair booth items.

Logan and Savannah had formal music lessons.

I had a doctor's appointment.

It was a terribly busy week, but a fullfilling week!
