Week 25- Winter Blues
This week we all kinda felt the winter blues settling in. So, we mixed things up a bit. I did not take many photos this week, it really seemed like this past week had fewer hours in each day! I just could not get everything done.
Monday was Martin Luther King Jr day, so we took the day off. We went and had the oil changed and tires balanced and rotated on the surburban. We picked up medicine and feed. We also placed an order for our new table top. Then we went to a friend's house for awhile to visit. The kids played video games and had multiple Nerf gun wars, us mom's got to visit for a bit. These visits never seem to last long enough!
Tuesday we focused on math and language arts. Savannah finished her book in language arts, so she got to pick out her a new course. She picked All things Fun and Fascinating from IEW.
Wednesday morning we spent planning for next year. I am hoping to get to attend a homeschool convention this year, so I am trying to get everything lined out. Logan will be in High School next year, so we are entering uncharted territory for us! Savannah will be in junior high, so she gets to start picking some electives. Lillian will be a 4th grader! In the afternoon we worked on math and language arts.
Thursday morning the kids all worked on their WWII projects. Lillian and Savannah finished their projects, Logan still has a few more days to finish his. Thursday afternoon everyone worked on math and language arts.
Friday the only subject we did was math.
Our other events this week were:
Sunday the youth from our church went to see Mega Force Ministries. They loved it!
Monday was music and taekwondo.
Tuesday afternoon we had a meeting with Logan's care coordinator.
Wednesday was Kid's Club, trap practice, church potluck, then Bible study.
Thursday we stayed home!!
Friday the girls had a 4H meeting then all the kids went to eat supper with Meme and Papa and spend the night.
Tonight was movie night.
Hope you all had a wonderful week!
