Week 37

Can you spot the deer?
The homeschool year is winding down!  We are finishing up curriculum, wrapping up projects, and starting to think about our summer plans. I really can't believe how fast the years are flying by.

In school this week:

Bible: In our content heart study we discussed being happy with our God given gifts and how we see our individual rights. We also read Easter stories and discussed Holy Week.

The kid's Easter gift was azaeleas

My Easter gift was Hydrangeas

History: We watched Apollo 13.

Such a good movie!

Science: We covered the Protista and Fungi families.  We also recorded our findings in our bacteria experiment.

Math: Everyone completed one PACE and took a test this week.

Language Arts: Lillian has finished her curriculum for the year, she will be starting her summer language program next week to continue working on catching her up and overcoming her dyslexia. Savannah and Logan continued working in theirs, they are almost finished.

In other happenings:

Monday we had a doctor's appointment and trap practice.  Savannah shot 18! Her highest yet!

Tuesday we had a 4H Sharp Shooters meeting and I did not get any photos! Everyone practiced their archery skills.

Thursday we had a meeting with Logan's case worker and Dad and Papa worked on getting the bush hog working. Then Dad had an eye appointment.

Waiting patiently

Friday Savannah completed her board for the reading fair. She did an awesome job!

Saturday we had a trap tournament!

I also picked up this book to help me start thinking about record keeping for high school.

Have a blessed week!
