Week 29-Sabbath Week

You ever have a week in which you are extremely busy all week, but at the end of the week you don't feel like you got anything accomplished? That was the kind of week I had. The weather was also nasty all week, and that doesn't help our moods.

Lillian started work on her animal homes project.

It was Sabbath week for us, so no daily list of school subjects to complete each day. The kids each did three math lessons, reading, and worked on personal projects.

Savannah made candles.

We finished our read aloud on John Bunyan.

Logan had music.

We all had trap practice.

We had another local mission, we visited with an elderly lady who just got out of the hospital.

Savannah also made blue slime.

We met with a new walking group this week. We are hoping this will take the place of therapy for awhile.

Logan and Dad had doctor appointments.

Dad taught a Hunter's Ed class today, so the kids and I tagged along to help.

You know those seeds I planted back in the fall? Well they have finally started coming up. I planted some cabbage this week too.

Savannah and I did some driveway beautification this week. Hopefully it will look nice.

We bought raspberry and grape plants, but we have not gotten them planted yet.

Dad and I also lost a good friend and mentor this week. He was the kind of man that wasn't afraid to give you the truth, gave solid advice, and always made sure I was being well taken care of. I will dearly miss Anthony Quinn. I know he is dancing in heaven today, and I will see him again one day. Prayers for his family.
