Week 33

To say this was a trying week would be an understatement in a major way. It has been a week full of sadness, anxiety, and worry.

We started the week with the loss of our beloved Bo. We had Bo for 14 years. He was a Wilson longer than two of our children. He was always there! I miss him, and still tear up when I think about him.

Shifu has been pretty needy all week and has whined alot. He misses Bo too.

By Tuesday evening we were having to start our preparation for being at home due to the coronovirus outbreak in our state. We were able to get most of what we need and have been self quarantined the rest of the week. We have 3 family members at higher risk, Lillian is 10 or under, Logan has asthma, and I have asthma and an autoimmune disease.   Church, trap, and co-op classes have been postponed until further notice.

To kinda help ease everyone's worry and anxiety this week we have switched some things up. We turned our fridge into a fine arts gallery, our weekly schedule into a Bible memory verse, and I have been cooking favorite foods and new snacks.

We also ordered the kids new monthly subscriptions to a crafting class and a chemistry class. The crafting kits for this month have already arrived. The girls were excited when they came in the mail today!

Logan ordered himself a new musical instrument to learn how to play. It is a type of flute. It has a pretty sound.

We have stayed outside between rain showers as much as possible this week. We have planted raspberry bushes, strawberries, grapes, fixed our blueberry beds, and weeded the salad garden.

Dad finished the kids' new swings. The picture doesn't do it justice, it's awesome.

The kids have been working on building their Pac-Man roller coaster during rain showers.

We also have had school. We started and finished Rip Van Winkle for our read aloud. Everyone worked on their individual math lessons. We started a video series on Biology. We watched episodes on classification, botony, aquatic life, and avian life. We finished Drive Thru History Greece, and continued on in King of Glory New Testament. The kids each also worked on their individual language arts lessons.

One of the new recipes this week was old fashioned gingerbread. It was pretty awesome.

Our neighbors have baby sheep! So much cuteness!!

Next week is spring break. Hoping for some sunshine!
