Week 34

Spring Break Week...sort of.

This was not a Sabbath Week for us, but with Dad being home we only had two days of school this week.  We took three days off to spend with Dad and have some stay at home fun.

In school this week:

The kids finished their pac-man roller coaster..with Dad's help.

We started reading "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" as our read aloud.

Everyone did two lessons in Math.

We updated our Fridge Art Gallery

We watched Biology 101, the sections on land animals and humans.  I love how this science curriculum puts humans in a special category all their own instead of putting us in with the animals.  God made us in a completely different manner than he did the animals, so we are supposed to be in a category all our own.

We watched Drive Thru History.  We are still watching the episodes on Turkey.  We have visited Sardis, Smyrna, and the Lycus Valley.

We also watched King of Glory.  We are still in the New Testament, we watched up until the crucification of Jesus.

Logan had an online co-op class using zoom.

In other events this week:

We are still in quarantine from the coronavirus pandemic.  We did lots of spring cleaning.

Logan made cast iron brownies.

Savannah my blur!

The girls did lots of bike riding.

We spent an evening outstide with a fire, swings, and trampoline fun.

We are trying to get the pool open, but having a hard time getting the chemicals right.

The kids practiced their archery.

I planted new shrubs and rose bushes.

Dad got the garden ready to plant.

We all planted tomatoes and got the cages put up around the plants.

Lillian had some fun with my old tape recorder.

The kids and dad all had a paper airplane race.

We are making the best of our quarantine.  I do have to say that it is beginning to get scary. We are trying to have a good time and enjoy being home with each other.  Next week we will be back to school full time.
