Week 36

We found out this week that Dad will be working from home until the end of May. So, our homeschooling is going to look a bit different. He is going to be teaching Logan in his Agri Basic Woodworking Class.  We will also help him whenever he needs help on building fences or store work.

We still have not gotten bored with our covid-19 quarantine. There always seems to be plenty of work to do!

In school this week:

Read Aloud: We read our Holy Week Scriptures every day this week.

Math: Everyone completed 3 lessons in math this week.

Art: We updated our fridge fine art pictures.

History: Since we finished Mystery of History Vol. 1 last week, we did a review over the timeline. Then we moved into studying Medieval History.

English: Everyone worked on various assignments in the language arts spectrum this week. It is mostly review time for the year.

Agri: Logan worked a couple of days with his Dad building shelves in the store. He did an awesome job!

Co-op classes: Lillian had a zoom class on Friday.

Other activities this week:

Sunday after video church we went outside and discovered that one of our goats had her babies. We had just shut her up earlier in the day because we knew she was getting close!

Monday we did an egg and spoon obstacle race.

Tuesday we played a game of croquet, Wilson family rules. 😄

Wednesday the kids searched for rocks, then I painted them into a tic tac toe game. Then we had some tic tac toe championship games. Logan also received his monthly box in the mail. We surprised him with a fishing box!

Thursday we worked in the garden all day! Then that night we had our Passover dinner.

Friday we went over to Meme and Papa's house. Dad helped set post for a new fence. Friday evening we took Easter pics.

Saturday was just a normal Saturday. We caught up on housework, played some video games, and we dyed Easter eggs. Savannah made cupcakes.

One day Savannah helped Dad in the store. Lillian also did some cross stitching one day.

I also finished putting a face on Raggedy Andy, so both dolls are complete.

The kids even went swimming in the cold cold pool one day!
