Week 35-Time for a change

This week I could tell that we need to change things up. We are all getting bored with our routines and subjects. This was our last week before our Sabbath week, so we just plowed on through.  Next week I will take some time to change our school schedule around and pull out some new things. We have finished a lot of our curriculum, but we will still have 6 more weeks of school when we come back.

I did not take good notes this week. So that means I will not be able to remember everything we accomplished. I know we did not do our PE videos but once this week.  We all need some encouragement in the exercise department!

Sunday was Easter. We went to church, had lunch with grandparents, and hunted eggs.  We also ate way to much chocolate. Logan hid the eggs. The girls had fun finding them.

Monday we did our PE video and played catch up on chores during Home Ec time.  After lunch we read some poems and Aesop fables. We also finished the book of Matthew in the New Testament. We worked on Language Arts and Math, and snacked on more chocolate!  Logan went to music.  We took Savannah and signed her up for a summer acting class and did some window shopping.

Tuesday the kids worked on their book projects during morning school. Afternoon school was cancelled due to an early therapy time. Trap practice also was cancelled due to storms.

Wednesday we watched an A&E Biography on Mark Twain for morning school. Afternoon school was cancelled for an early trap practice.  Then the kids had kid's club and youth.

Thursday we worked on History and Language Arts for morning school.  Logan had a history project, he had to make a children's book about the Great Wall of China. He still needs to add color, but I thought he did a great job. In afternoon school we went to the library to pick up some books we need to read for some of our subjects and new biographies. Then we went and picked up our baby chicks.

Friday morning Logan had a trap tournament.  It poured down rain the whole time!  Logan did a great job, he has made great progress.  His first tournament he hit 1, today he hit 16.  I think that is awesome progress.  We were supposed to go to art class after the tournament, but we were soaked to the bone.  We went home and got dry and warm. We found that our swimming pool had been delivered.  I am so thankful for our UPS guy.  The kids then watched the story from the book of Matthew on dvd.

Saturday was report card day.  We discussed report cards.  Then we worked on getting all our animals ready for winter weather we are supposed to have tonight. I am ready for Spring to come back!

I hope you all had a blessed week!
