Week 41- So close we can taste it!
Summer break is so close we can taste the watermelon and popsicles! We had a pretty relaxed week and finished up some things this week.
In school this week:
Savannah completed her language arts curriculum. Logan is on his very last assignment, which is a book report. Lillian is working on her summer language program, we are going slow.
Everyone is still working on math PACE'S.
We talked about a few things on our science calendar.
The kids all worked on their rockets. Savannah is trying to get her ship finished also.
In other activities:
Sunday was Mother's Day, my family was so sweet to me! I'm very blessed to have such a wonderful family.
We had Monday Music.
I got to have lunch with a dear friend of mine! We planted some more plants in the garden, cherry tomatoes and sweet peppers.
I had a doctor's appointment, Meme and Papa took the kids fishing. Then they had trap practice for the last time this season.
Thursday was our last homeschool group event. I had such a good time visiting with the other moms and gaining some insight to some questions I've been asking myself for several months. I also feel a great weight off my shoulders knowing I will not be planning any more events.
Friday we stayed home, the kids swam.
We also worked on some Fly Lady things. We are taking baby steps!
Saturday was our last Trap Tournament! I'm so glad to have some free Saturday's!! After the tournament we went fishing with Meme and Papa and had a picnic lunch. We had a fun morning, it rained and stormed all evening.
Next week is our official last week of the school year!! Woohoo!! We are so ready!
