Week 42-2018/2019 School Year Complete

Savannah got a new trap vest for highest score/most improved at our last tournament!

We are officially finished with our school year!  Wednesday was our last day.  We are all so ready for a break and change of pace.

In school this week:

We just really had an easy week.  Everyone finished up on a few things in language and found a good stopping point for math.  We are taking at least one week completely off from any school work before starting our summer schedule.

Savannah found a red toad in our yard.

In other happenings:

Sunday after church Lillian stayed for a going away party for a student from her class.

Monday Music happened.

Tuesday we had a meeting with Logan's case worker. It is so frustrating because everything has to be electronic these days.  We met at the library because she can never get her wifi to work at our house.  Well, it didn't work there either.  The kids checked out new books, and so did I.  I was excited to know I would have some time for just plain ole enjoyment reading. We also ran a bunch of errands in town.

Wednesday was church Bible study.  I'm glad we went, there was a message for me. I felt blessed to receive personal encouragement. I'm having a hard time medically right now, and I know it could be so much worse, and I truly am blessed, but I've been feeling discouraged non the less. I came away feeling better.

Thursday we went and shelled peas and canned peas at Meme and Papa's. Also, one of our cows finally had her baby!! It is so cute!

Friday I spent working in the yard.  We had gotten behind on yard work with all the rain we have had.

Saturday Shane and I finished as much as we could in the yard, some parts are still too wet to mow.  Then we went to our Church's monthly singing. It is the first one we have been able to attend. We will be trying to catch some more, we really enjoyed it.

Savannah finally finished her cutty sark ship this week!  It was a bit more complicated than we thought it would be, hanging all those sales were tedious!

Lillian worked more on her rocket this week too.

I feel like we accomplished a lot this school year.  I feel like there are changes coming for next year, but I'm not sure what those are going to be. I'm trying really hard to just enjoy our day to day and listen for God's guidance for next year. So far, he is telling me to not plan yet.

I hope you all had a blessed week.
