Week 15

It has been a nice slow week at our house.  We have enjoyed getting to be home most days!

In school:

Logan: Logan completed 3 days of Easy Peasy High School.  He is enjoying this much better!

Savannah: Sister completed 3 language arts lessons and three math lessons this week.

Lillian: Lilly completed 3 language arts lessons and 3 math lessons.

PE: We went to the gym and had therapy only once this week.  However we have been keeping busy outside, so I'm counting all our outside time as PE this week also.

Logic: There have a been many games of chess going on this week.

Agri: We have tended to our various critters. We sold a goat, and learned about farm economics.  We also worked on fence building and winter gardening. We also did meat processing one night.

Home Ec: Savannah spent the day with Meme and learned more about sewing. Savannah also did some clothes making for her 🦊.

Read Aloud: I started a new read aloud with everyone called " The Westing Game." I was looking for something more for tweens and teens this time.  It is a good book, although it is a little bit hard to keep up with all the characters.

In other happenings:

Logan had one doctor's appointment this week.

We had a meeting with Logan's case worker.

We were going to have some friends over, but there has been a lot of sickness in their school, so we had to cancel. I'm on a new medication that suppresses my immune system, and I didn't want to take any chances here at the holidays.

Dad started getting our big garden ready for spring.

We changed the type of sugar we use in cooking in hopes of being more healthy and decreasing our footprint.

We found a new breakfast recipe that quickly became a favorite, avacodo egg bake!

Logan also worked two days for his dad in the store this week.

Lillian and Logan sang a special at church with Bro. Keith and Papa.

It has been a blessed week.  I'm about to start a house declutter time before decorating for Christmas! We are not only decluttering our home, but also our lives. We decided to not continue 4H. We turned in all our stuff this week, that was a huge weight off.

God bless!
