Week 33- Spring Break

Spring is here!! I'm so thankful for spring. We took the entire week off from school and just did some fun things!

Monday the girls went and stayed at some friends' house for awhile.  They went out to eat, played some games, and watched a movie.  Logan, Shane, and I went to Meme and Papa's to help plant some in the garden.  We got the trellis up on the sweat peas, planted potatoes, onions, and squash.

Tuesday Lillian had a trip with our church.  They went out to eat, went bowling, and then to a park to play.  She had a blast!  Tuesday afternoon we had our monthly meeting with Logan's care coordinator.

Wednesday we cleaned in the yard all day and burned limbs and such. We also spent a great deal of time searching for a tractor part and getting groceries.

Thursday the kids had trap practice and then we had some friends over for a cookout.

Friday we were out the door early for art classes.  Then we set out for northern Arkansas for a Homeschool convention!! We had so much fun, connecting as a family, learning new things, and just looking through a million homeschool options! Our hotel had an indoor pool, the kids wasted no time getting an early start to their swimming!

On the way home Saturday evening we stopped at Devil's Den State Park.  There wasn't much to see, the caves were all closed due to the bats being sick.  However it was a good resting point on the long trip home.  Plus, now we can mark that state park off our list because we have visited it!

We had a great time!  It was a very encouraging trip!

Now it's back to school!!
