Lillian-4th Grade

Lillian my sweet, sweet beautiful baby, definitely isn't a baby anymore!

She is so quickly growing up. Lillian is very much in the discovery stage. She loves to try new things and is trying so hard to find her place in this big world!

If I could only use two words to describe Lillian they would be "joyfully adventurous." She brings so much joy and laughter into my life, our home, and to our family.

She lives for a good adventure. She loves to explore and travel.  She would much rather be outside on an adventure than pretty much anything else. Well, except maybe hosting a party!

She brightens up every room she walks in to.  I'm very blessed to call her my daughter, and I am so thankful that God gave her to me!

Lillian will be in the 4th grade this year!  My biggest plans for her this year are to still encourage fun in learning.  I also want her to read, read, and read! Her reading skills really skyrocketed through the summer.

Here are her curriculum choices for this school year:

English- She will be using "Explode the Code" and "A Reason for Handwriting" to cement her language arts skills.  She will also be using a set of story cubes to strengthen her storytelling skills.

Math- Lillian will be using PACE Math for Grade 4 this year. She actually likes Math, she just wanted to make a silly face!

Science- We will be doing Creation Science together as a family.  Lillian will do the elementary assignments.

History- We will be using Mystery of History Vol 1 as a family.  Lillian will complete the elementary level assignments.

Art- Lillian loves art, and has chosen to continue art lessons.  She will be using "See the Light with Pat Knepley" for her curriculum.

Just for fun learning- Lillian is super interested in everything about bodies, human and animal. She found this small human body science kit at the homeschool convention, she is really excited about starting this curriculum!

Her extracurricular activities for this year will be:

4H Sharp Shooters Club

Homeschool Group Activities

Church youth group activities

She really hasn't found a hobby she really loves yet.  I keep trying to convince her that she is still young, and she has plenty of time. However, she really wants to find her "thing."  I can see her trying some new things this year!

Lillian has such a huge heart, and loves with every bit of it!

This girl is going places, I can just feel it!

Lillian is the 5th generation in my family to drive this tractor!!
