Summer Week 7

I took absolutely no pictures this week.  It felt like a very hectic week.

Sunday: We had church and church potluck. Lillian went to some friends' house for awhile.  Logan took a pretty bad fall, which worried me, but he ended up being ok. Dad started feeling bad.

Monday: Dad had a job interview.  The kids and I took care of house chores, did a little summer schooling (mostly Bible study and reading). Logan wasn't feeling great from his fall, so no music.

Tuesday: Dad took a vehicle to get new tires. It was so very hot this day! The kids and I stayed inside.  Tuesday night the girls and I had a girls' night campout in the camper.  We had a Harry Potter Movie Marathon.

Wednesday: I attended my online class on scholarships for homeschoolers.  I learned a ton of helpful info and feel better about it. We had a summer storm whip through the area which left lots of limbs and trees down. It turned over one of our rabbit hutches and we lost electricity.  It didn't take long for us to miss the A/C!!  Savannah and I went to church business meeting, Lillian and Shane were both sick.  Logan stayed home with them.

Thursday: Dad woke up feeling better. He took Logan to Little Rock for an appointment. The original appointment went well.  They tried to stick in some other appointments for doctor's we have never seen before. However, after waiting back in a room for over two hours they just left and started home.  We are not sure why this happened, but we don't feel like we needed these extra appointments.  By the time they got home, Dad was down.   Lillian was still sick.  Logan was exhausted.  Savannah and I went to the first night of a Bible study called "A Pale Horse Rides."

Friday: We tried to get Lillian and Dad in to see a doctor, however he was completely booked up.  He did call in some medicine for us though.  Lillian was actually doing a lot better, but with the weekend coming up I thought she might need something.  She continued to get better all day.  We worked on some summer schooling through the day. The kids and I went to the Bible study this night.  Dad stayed home.

Saturday: Lillian seems all well, but I'm making her continue her medicine.  Dad seemed better early, then got pretty sick again. We decided to go to the ER, but by the time we got there he was better again with no fever.  So, we came home.  If the ER says it wasn't truly an emergency, our insurance will not pay anything.  Hopefully he will continue to improve on his medicine.  The kids and I will attend the last night of "The Pale Horse" tonight.

We have really enjoyed the bible study.  It is being held by a church of a different denomination than we are.  So, it has really been a neat experience to meet new people and talk Bible, theory, and doctrine.  It has been good for our kids to see as well that for every question, we go straight to the Bible for the final answer. These classes count as part of Logan's Ancient Literature class (more on that later).  There is one more class in early August to finish the series.

Also this week Savannah and I ironed out her final decisions for her 7th grade year.  She will officially be a Junior High student!
